Ms. Szekeres has worked for the past ten years developing services for urban youth and their educators. She has participated in a diverse set of educational projects, building youth leadership programs, designing curricula, and developing teachers' classroom management skills. Before entering the classroom as a full-time teacher, Ms. Szekeres worked in general management for GAP Corporation and helped design a strategic marketing plan for a charter school resource center. Ms. Szekeres's work currently focuses upon the successful delivery of instruction to students with special needs, be they socio-economically disadvantaged, learning disabled, or gifted and talented youth. |
